Taha Rohan ’19 is the student leader intern of the LLEC for 2018 019. Born and raised in Islamabad, Pakistan, he is currently a junior majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and minoring in Economics. Taha has an active role in the Lafayette community with his roles as a Resident Advisor, a Writing Associate as well as a social justice advocate at Kaleidoscope. During his spare time, he enjoys running on the Arts Trail in Easton and reading books. His plan for the future is to learn entrepreneurship skills in the technology industry and ultimately make a meaningful impact in his home country.
Olivia Bonevento ’18 was the student leader intern for 2016-2018. She majored in English with a concentration in writing. In addition to being a part of the Lafayette Leadership Education committee, Olivia also ran her own mental health blog, wrote for the Odyssey Online and was an intern for the Susan G. Komen foundation. She was planning attend graduate school to not only further her education, but to learn how to further help people and make a difference with her writing endeavors.
Neysa Braimah ’17 was the student leader intern of the LLEC for 2015-2017. She majored in Economics and Policy Studies and comes from quite a diverse background. She’s lived in Germany, Ghana, America and Lebanon. During her time at Lafayette she was the treasurer of the Lafayette African and Caribbean Students’ Association, a member of the women’s rugby team, and team captain of the Lafayette Economic Empowerment and Global Learning Project (EEGLP). Her plans were to go on to graduate school.
Jade Saybolt ‘16 was the student leader intern for 2014-2016. She was the Office Manager for the Lafayette College Ambassador Program (LCAP) and the President of Psychology club. This year will be Jade’s second year in the Grossman House for Global Perspectives. Jade graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a concentration in Neuroscience. Shortly after graduation, Jade was hired to work full-time in Lafayette’s Admissions Office and she plans to eventually attend graduate school.
